The IOP offers an effective and innovative alternative to traditional substance abuse programs. The program is designed for:
-
-Individuals who do not require detoxification and who have failed at attempts to achieve sobriety in outpatient therapy.
-
-People who require structure, support and education in order to achieve abstinence.
-
-Continuing treatment after an inpatient detoxification or residential rehabilitation program.
-
-Patients who want to receive treatment while remaining in their own home and work environment.
-
-Patients with untreated mental illness, a significant factor in relapse.
IOP assessment and treatment planning take into account the whole person, including any co-occuring issues with depression, anxiety, etc. The IOP provides treatment 4 days a week in a private, structured setting from 4-7 PM. Individuals return home in the evening and have an opportunity to practice their skills they are learning in the program.
